Through others

God can sometimes speak through unexpected people and even his enemies

Pray for All Believers in Christ because We ALL Wrestle Against the Same Darkness

The command to pray for all believers is given in the context of the command to be armed, and to arm each other, with the full armor of God. We need to stand together in God’s armor because we are all wrestling with the same darkness and cannot stand against it on our own and without God’s strength.

Pray for All Believers in Christ, including any brought to mind

Ephesians 6:17-18 commands us, together, to do something both for ourselves and to and for each other. If I am praying for every believer close to me and every believer to which my concern is drawn, and I am listening to the Spirit and praying in the Spirit for every believer who comes to mind, I will have done my part. The Spirit will also be guiding other believers in my world, who will be praying for the people I missed and for me. My part is to listen and pray as directed and to not omit or refuse to pray for anyone God places before me or on my mind.

Love Never Behaves Inappropriately, a personal aside

To understand how to love people in each specific situation, I must ask God and listen to His answer. This is particularly important for me because of my condition. I can’t fake it.

How should we respond together to the Lord’s discipline?

The passage from Hebrews 12:11-17 discusses the Lord’s discipline and how believers should support one another through it. Discipline, though painful, leads to righteousness and peace. This unified response showcases peace and holiness, helping others to see the Lord through our lives. Holiness and peace are essential for believers.
